17th March ’17: St Patrick’s green

Good day, fellow colour-lovers ☘️🍀
There are two reasons to celebrate today: it’s Friday (and that means you have to eat Haribos: it’s the law) and it’s St Patrick’s Day. I didn’t manage to do a shelfscape for St David’s Day as an homage to my Welshness so I thought I’d take this opportunity to go green for my Irish pals instead. Not that I need much encouragement when it comes to green, especially if it’s with pink. Or purple. Or both.
Whatever the shade (this time I’ve gone for darker hues) green is a joy to work with. Here I’ve stuck to green and white with a mere whisper of orange, courtesy of some divine @vvrouleaux striped grosgrain. The Week-End Book leapt off the shelf at me when I was in my local Oxfam Bookshop because of its colour and it’s wonderfully patterned cover. Have a fabulous, green-hued day, Colour Filers ☘️🍀🌈
