11th April ’17: Pretty pastels

Hello again, lovely people ๐ŸŒธ๐Ÿ‘—๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป
Easter colours are everywhere and I have come to the conclusion that, much as I love Christmas because of its colour, the Easter palate wins hands-down. Pastels, faded colours, soft yet bright: utterly delicious. In fact, at The Colour File HQ, where faded colours rule the roost, pretty much every day could be Easter Day (minus the chocolate). When I’m getting my shelfscapes together, I scout far and wide for inspiration and often discover it’s right in front of me. That’s the case with this beautiful gem-shaped bottle ofย @ted_bakerย body lotion that seems so content in this shell pink and cool mint scape with the dainty lustre jug (a Mother’s Day gift from my second-in-command – isn’t she a stunner?) and a card from my third birthday (distinctly vintage!!). All it needs is a tweeting chick to hatch out of an egg in front of the whole caboodle and my Easter palate vision would be complete. ๐Ÿฃ๐Ÿฅ
As you were – enjoy your day.ย
