1st May ’17: Bus ticket memories

Happy Sunday, lovely friends โค๏ธ๐ŸฆŠ๐Ÿฆ๐Ÿฑ๐Ÿธ๐Ÿฆ‹๐ŸŒŠ๐ŸŒ‚โ˜‚๏ธ
I’ve been feeling the need to spread some more colour joy and couldn’t wait until tomorrow. Since starting The Colour File, I’ve clocked just how many of my memories, both good and bad, are related to colour. Do you know, I’ve even cried over colour. Twice. No, three times, possibly more. One of my most joyful colourful moments, however, was collecting bus tickets on holiday in Guernsey just after my fifth birthday. The tickets were all different colours and I remember scrabbling around on bus floors to scoop them up. By the time we left, I had a massive wodge of them in all the colours of the rainbow, bound by an elastic band. Over the years I mislaid them but recently found some replacements onย @ebayย and my joy was rekindled (top left, now in a frame). The CDs are at a friend’s house, which she pointed out to me are pleasingly arranged in colour order (I’m either a good influence or a bad one – haven’t worked out which yet). Anyway, see you on the other side.
