30th June ’17: Soap story

Well done for making it to Friday, folks.
When I was five, my grandmother gave me a box of assorted @bronnley soaps she didn’t want. They were in all shapes, sizes and pastel colours and came in an A4-sized presentation box. I adored them so much that people would buy me soaps for birthdays and Christmases for years to come. I eventually bequeathed my collection to my mum many years later and she never had to buy another bar from that point onwards. Despite the fact that Brits buy more liquid soap than bars these day according to Mintel (87 percent v 71 per cent) i’m still a sucker for a bar, especially if it’s deliciously colourful, like these French soaps which come in every possible hue. I haven’t ordered one yet – how’s a girl to choose? That’s like ‘choose your favourite child’ territory. Anyway, have a great day and I’ll catch you later, peeps.
