Red has been on my mind, firstly since seeing @style_mum at the #cuckooclubforgrenfell event last night (swipe right to see the girl who gets happiness by the truckload from wearing red, as you’ll soon read in her Colour File colour influencer Q&A); and secondly because, five (yes, five) months after starting the Colour File, I have only once talked about red. This is even though research tells me it’s a colour that lights your fire. A recent survey by @iwantwallpaper revealed that 43 people cent of us feel passionate when we see a red room (blue makes us feel calm and black powerful). Some experts also say that red increases blood flow and boosts metabolism so it makes us hungry (think McDonalds and KFC), and studies show that people perform 10 per cent better in sports if they’re wearing red. Remember that next time you’re challenged to a competitive game of Pin The Tail On The Donkey and can’t decide what to wear. Oh, by the way, I have been scouting for pics across the UK as promised.
