Happy Thursday, colour-lovers.
Next week it’ll be six months since I started The Colour File and I have to say that the pursuit of colour pics and posts has significantly altered how I feel about life. Having been through some bleak, black times, I’ve discovered that filling my world with colourful purpose every day has been the most potent antidepressant I’ve yet come across. I was playing around with my sea plastic and thought I’d try to depict how this feels. It feels like I’ve been sucked from dark, black thinking to a much fuller, brighter, more hopeful place by the pursuit of colour. Here’s one of my interpretations (hopeful flying fish emerging from the murky depths, maybe? 🤔). What does colour do to your mood and outlook?
