Not long ago, I told you about how some people think that green is unlucky. I was fascinated to discover that that’s why Kawasaki came up with its famous lime green livery. Determined to get a competitive advantage over its rivals in 1968, the company unveiled a bright lime green A1R racer and shocked those in a superstitious industry that still considered green unlucky. Kawasaki was determined to show that ‘conventional thinking would not be a barrier to new challenges’. The company has used Kawasaki Green ever since.
