16 November ’17: Granny blanket love

A few years ago I went through a phase of buying granny blankets. I think I may have been nesting (for a small country, it would seem). I adore these unsung style heroes. These blankets (also known as Afghans) are casually flung on the backs of sofas when really they’re like stunning works of stealth art, replete with the most incredible colours and patterns. That’s why when I clapped eyes on @law1sfab wearing a brilliantly-coloured granny square top in @frompaperchase recently (top right), I was enraptured (Laura taught herself to crochet and made this is two weeks. Skills). Anyone else a granny blanket fan? I raise you 10…
